Get away to the Virginia countryside! This beautifully furnished holiday cottage on three acres is located in the heart of Hunt Country and the Appalachian foothills. We are outside the picturesque village of The Plains, VA., eight miles south of Middleburg and 50 miles west of Washington, DC. Renovated thoughtfully, the home retains its charm and 19th century stone foundation. Enjoy the neighboring wineries, coffee shops, farm-to-table restaurants, equestrian events, farmer's market, hiking trails and antique stores, or take a drive and savor Virginia's gorgeous vistas!
This delightful cottage sleeps eight and has a fully equipped kitchen. The large deck overlooks the expansive lawn where you can entertain by cooking on the grill, in the pizza oven; then just relax and see the Milky Way far from city lights. Or catch up with friends around the fire pit. We'll provide the skewers!

Every December the Middleburg Christmas parade happens just eight miles to the north.
Rob says that the best coffee in the world is found at Happy Creek (now called "Doppio Bunny".

We think the area feels a bit like England and Ireland, with rolling countryside and miles of old stone walls.
Marshall, two miles to the west, has a wonderful downtown with fine dining, wonderful shops, and antiquing.
